Sampling inspection of the second batch of household detergent products The product qualification rate was 91.0%

Views:

Recently, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine announced the results of the second batch of household detergent products in 2014 (liquid detergent for clothing, sanitary ware cleaning agent) product quality supervision and spot check results. The random inspection involved 100 batches of products from 81 companies in 11 regions including Beijing, Hebei, Shanghai and Jiangsu. The qualified rate of random inspection enterprises was 88.9%, and the qualified rate of products was 91.0%. Judging from the results of this spot check, the overall quality of laundry detergent and sanitary ware cleaner products in the Chinese market is relatively high. However, the two indicators of total active matter and surfactant content are "minefields" with frequent problems, and there are more problems with small and medium-sized enterprises' products.

"It is mainly related to scale, the production threshold is relatively low, and the technical content is not high." said Zhou Zelin, deputy director of the National Cleaning Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center.

Since liquid detergents for clothing and sanitary ware cleaning agents are not included in the scope of industrial product licenses, they are blank at the industrial policy level, and the problems are more prominent. In order to reduce production costs, manufacturers do not add active material as required by the standard, resulting in total active material content that does not meet the standard requirements, which is the main quality problem of liquid detergent products for clothing. "Using products with unqualified total active content may not achieve the ideal washing and cleaning effect." Zhou Zelin said, "but the total active content cannot fully reflect the pros and cons of the product's decontamination ability, and the combination and synergy of product formulation ingredients The effect also has a great influence on the detergency of the product."

It is reported that there are currently no national mandatory standards for liquid detergents for clothing and sanitary ware cleaning agents, only recommended standards. "About 30% of the products in this spot check (liquid detergent for clothing) adopted corporate standards." According to Zhou Zelin, since the existing industry standards are recommended standards, companies can choose to adopt industry standards or choose their own companies. standard. However, the corporate standards set by some companies are significantly lower than the recommended standards, and some indicators are "ridiculously low."

For example, in QB/T1224-2012 "Liquid Detergent for Clothing", the total active content of ordinary laundry detergent and concentrated laundry detergent is required to be no less than 15% and 25%, respectively, ordinary silk and wool detergent and concentrated silk and wool detergent The total active matter of the liquid is not less than 12% and 25% respectively. In the spot check, some of the enterprise products that use enterprise standards have surprisingly low values. In this spot check, 33 companies that implemented corporate standards had 8 specific indicators that were lower than the recommended standards. Zhou Zelin said that these enterprise standards, which are far below the recommended standards, not only cause difficulties for supervision, but also harm the interests of consumers to a large extent.

Yao Chenzhi, secretary-general of the National Standardization Technical Committee for Surfactants and Detergents, believes that it is understandable for companies to formulate their own corporate standards, but “consumers cannot judge whether companies implement standards or not.”

Yang Zuoyi, vice president of Guangzhou Liby Enterprise Group Co., Ltd., said that under the current situation of lack of national standards, companies must prepare for corporate standards locally, and relevant indicators and values should be maintained at a high level.

Affected by many aspects, the filing standards in some places are different, and some companies completely ignore the seriousness of the standards, and organize production by "fabricating" relevant standards.

Yao Chenzhi believes that the weak implementation of standards is also the main reason for the frequent sampling problems. "Most industries and fields have problems with imperfect standards implementation, and these problems will be discovered through supervision and spot checks." He also said that from the current point of view, the industry standard (liquid detergent for clothing) already exists. In the case of multiple revisions, the possibility of "rising" to the national standard in the future is low.

Regarding the supervision of related products, Yang Zuoyi believes that control should be carried out from the source. Relevant departments should actively promote the implementation of national and industry standards, strictly control the various types of standards filed, and strictly prevent the occurrence of "low-standard filing". Yao Chengzhi also suggested that law enforcement agencies should intensify law enforcement and strictly control and punish companies that do not comply with the standards. Zhou Zelin suggested that relevant functional departments should strictly control the product quality requirements of the company when conducting corporate standard filing management.

“For enterprises, it is more urgent to meet the requirements of quality standards, provide consumers with reliable and reliable high-quality products, and fulfill corporate social responsibility.” Yang Zuoyi said.
